Facilities

Your organization will be responsible for securing use of a facility to hold the event, as well as set up and clean up the facility, and any costs incurred in doing so. Your facility should be able to seat at least 500 people and have two dressing rooms for men and women. Types of facilities recommended are: Recreation center, school gymnasiums, boardwalk entertainment areas, arenas and other venues. During the summer months, we also hold outdoor events.

Wrestling Ring Setup

We supply the wrestling ring and crew to put up and take down the ring. Our ring crew needs access to the facility 4-5 hours before the event to begin setting up the ring.

Seating

You will need to supply at least 500 chairs for seating or bleachers that will seat 500 or more. You may need to supply a floor cover (check with facility).

Ticket Pricing

Tickets for the event are priced as follows:

  • Ringside $15

  • Box Seats $20

  • General Admission $10

We provide you with pre-printed tickets at our cost.

Advanced Ticket Sales

You will need to provide 2-4 ticket outlets. They should be well known to the public, such as drug stores, music stores, sporting goods stores, video stores, etc. Tickets should be distributed to the outlets at least 4 weeks prior to the event. You are fully responsible for all monies and tickets.

Food Concessions

We can provide you with all Food/Beer concessions or let you provide it which will increase your profit. The average wrestling fan spends $8 - $10.00 on refreshments.

Advertising

Advertising is a key ingredient for a successful event. Here are some very successful methods that we have utilized and found to be most effective:

Posters: We will send to you plenty of color advertising posters for you to distribute in high traffic areas 14 to 21 days prior to the event. The placement of the posters is critical to the success of your fundraiser.

Newspaper Advertising: Most non-profit organizations receive free newspaper coverage; have your group check with your local papers. If your group is a profit organization, it is important that you contact your local newspapers as soon as possible to secure advertising for the event.

Sound System

EWA will be responsible for providing all sound/stage equipment FREE OF CHARGE

Security

You will be responsible for having security officers & a doctor or EMS present at the event (required by law).

EWA will sell souvenirs including but not limited to: programs, T-shirts, and photos and keep all monies made from these sales.

No one but the EWA staff is permitted to video tape the event unless otherwise agreed to by EWA.

The first match will begin promptly around 7:15 to 7:30 p.m. (unless a different time is discussed prior to the event), There will be at least one 20 minute intermission during the course of the event. The matches should be completed around 10:30 p.m.
